It is a species of bird in the Thraupidae family found only in Colombia and Ecuador.

Habitat:

Inhabits subtropical and tropical moist montane forests, subtropical and tropical high-altitude shrubland, and heavily degraded former forest.

Notes:

Small bird hanging in a plantain plant while raining.
