Description:

Jackfruit, or "nangka" here in Indonesia, is a species of tree in the mulberry family (Moraceae). It is native to parts of southern and southeast Asia but is cultivated and found in many areas of the tropics. Its fruit is the largest tree-born fruit and it is used in many cuisines. Here in Indonesia it is best known from Padang cuisine.

Habitat:

Growing in a large semi-urban yard & garden. Tropical climate.
