Reduviidae
Very small and thin assassin bug (.35 inches, 8.88 mm) Still searching for an exact ID.
On the side of the house.
I missed two important photos on my camera which shows the rostrum (beak - injector) which gives the correct ID of an assassin bug. Thanks Karen! :)
I am so dumb! Well, I did take a lot of photos of it. I left two important photos on the memory card that show that rostrum and just posted a NEW FIRST PHOTO! Definitely a type of assassin bug.
Wow, I don't think Masked Hunter, too dark. I have to do homework again. Darn! LOL! (I am a little lazy) I just like taking the photo sometimes. HA!
It looks like it has wings so I would say full grown.
I think you should definitely host the next Uglybugs ball!
I'm now not absolutely convinced of the ID - I'm thinking it may actually be a Masked hunter (reduvius personatus) What do you think Carol?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masked_hunter
If it is an assassin bug. I am having a party! YIPPPEEE! More excited than the tree hopper! HA!
R u sure? I was thinking that, but didn't see his rostrum. I was looking for that. It looked like one.
