Description:

Pale bluish green furry pea plant with spectacular red, pink or white flowers with dark bulging eyes.

Habitat:

Very dry desert after good rains.

Notes:

After 10 years of record drought in eastern Australia came record floods. The desert came alive with all sorts of amazing plants and the Sturt's Desert Pea was everywhere.

A superstar amongst peas! I've grown this here in the UK but never managed to get a spread on it like that. Thanks for sharing this
