Green Stink Bug

Description:

Beautiful, 1 cm long, vibrant green, oval-shaped bug with yellow, purple and black patches on both sides and the rump.

Habitat:

Found on a juniper tree, into which it blended perfectly, at Great Bear Ski Area on the eastern edge of Sioux Falls, SD.

Notes:

You cannot see the purple from the pictures, but that was how we actually SAW him against the juniper backdrop.
