Description:

Apparently smells like rotting flesh or faeces to attract flies which then spread the spores. I was not aware of this until I got home - thankfully I didn't smell it at the time!

Very cool spotting! I know of a fungi in Norway wich serve the same purpose as this one, translated it means corpsefungus.
I belive our species is called Phallus impudicus
