Thanks--that looks like an interesting site I'll have to take time to explore. I do love the Amanitas when they are in pristine condition. This variety I rarely find, so it is exciting to get such a pretty one.

That seems to be a catch-all name; there appear to be several species in this area that fall into it, and I couldn't figure out which it was. Any ideas?
