@bayucca , you're right I cannot find a close match with Asean species. This fly is also attracted to goat and water buffalo dungs.

Looks for me like Syrphidae. I only know some similar ones of the subfamily Syrphinae and tribe Bacchini and Syrphini, but these were from US and Europe. I think you need a real expert for this one.
