Picoides pubescens
"Downy Woodpeckers forage on trees, picking the bark surface in summer and digging deeper in winter. They mainly eat insects, also seeds and berries. In winter, especially, Downy Woodpeckers can often be found in suburban backyards with trees and will feed on suet at birdfeeders."
I woke up and there was a thin layer of snow on the ground. I headed to the bird feeders and they were under siege! The woodpecker on the suet, the chicadees, nuthatches and titmice on the tube, junco's on the ground, and the squirrels at their feeder! IT WAS INSANE!

Thank you Sachin!
Nice,
Yes they do! They especially love the special woodpecker and peanut butter suet I leave in there for them :)
You have the same feeder I do and the woodpeckers love the suet on the sides!
