Toxostoma Redivivum
Only found in California and Baja. It has a unique curved bill and can be easily dinstinguished from other thrashers by range and habitat.
It was in a scrubby chaparral area.
It was also during the breeding season, so he was singing. It's song is similar to a mockingbird.
