spotted in my garden in Tamil Nadu, India
having terrible trouble uploading the photos.Sometimes have to try 10 times just to get the upload started and then it can be s.o.o.o.o slow uploading! Several times the photos are dead and I have to reload! Lots of patience required.
Martini,
thanks, that's a really great reference to have. Beautifully clear photos. I found my spotting very easily.
Lovely pics pamsai. Don't worry about the grass ID... I just wasn't sure it was something natural. I think I remember seeing it there now.
How do you do it martinl !! like a greyhound.
thanks Martini, I'll check it out. You are both so quick off the mark! I hadn't even finished downloading all the photos! Mind you, the download is extremely slow here...
Argybee, the thing it is standing on, the locals call cow grass here. They use it as fodder. i'll upload a better photo and maybe someone can identify it's proper name.
Photo #2 is nice. It's actually very important for ID purposes. I gave you a reference where you need to scroll down a long way through a gallery of 'eye candy'
