Our marshes are full of birds in winter, till the rains. I have clicked many birds at the same marsh that I love to visit almost once every 2 months now. Good to know the trick for recovering data, thanks for sharing, I never knew that. Looking forward to more posts. Cheers!

Thank you Satyen, we do indeed have many species in common but I suspect your marshes contain more species overall. In the last month we have visited several marshes along the south coast of Spain and seen a lot of species which we don't get at this marsh. I hope to start posting the pictures shortly. My laptop crashed with a hard disc failure and would not boot at all while we were holidaying but I have managed to restore it and recover all the data which included several thousand pictures as I was reusing the two camera cards. The trick was to press and hold F11 while booting and it came up with a repair menu but I only found out when I got home.
