? slime mold

Description:

A white patch of mold spread on a dead tree stump - looked a little like icing sugar with patches of jelly-like matter.

Habitat:

Damp eucalyptus forest

Notes:

Felt moist to touch and could have scraped the white spread off easily..is this some sort of slime mold. No significant features except the small patch of jelly. I hope the description is adequate for an ID !
