White-tailed Deer

Description:

Whitetail deer fawn, female. Caught in cowfence. We cut the fence and got her out despite much crying from her and huffing from mom. She could not get up however, so after giving her time in peace to try with no luck, we took her to a trusted wildlife rehab. She has been helped AND released!

Habitat:

Marshy woodland, protected (no hunt) land.
