Description:

I think this may be a Red Palm Weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus) cocoon, except the cocoon seems much sparser than the cocoons I've seen in reference images. Can anyone confirm this is a Red Palm Weevil pupa cocoon?

Habitat:

Spotted on a palm leaf - rainforest.
