Indian goats (Sangamneri?)

Sangamneri?

Description:

Usually creamy white, but could be brown or black; sometimes with mix; about 70cm tall at withers; body about 70cm long; weight about 35kg. Long ears hanging.

Habitat:

Domestic bred; kept in small flocks wherever there might be feed such as besides railways; ditches, unused public lands.

Notes:

There was a man with a stick out of shot who didn't need to do much but watch. There are many breeds of goat (and sheep) throughout India. These could be a mix or some other breed. My choice is based upon what the FAO surveys say is in the area and also appearance. (Advice from Arun most welcome)
