Description:

Common Names: Turk's Cap, Sleepy Hibiscus. Native to Southern Mexico, Central America. Tropical shrub, the flowers resemble unopened hibiscus flowers . Zones 9 - 12. Height: 2 - 8 feet. Attracts: butterflies, hummingbirds.

Habitat:

Light: Full Sun - Light Shade. Water: Moist. Host Plant to: Turk's-cap White-Skipper (Heliopetes macaira), Glassy-winged Skipper (Xenophanes tryxus).
