Description:

A farmer friend of mine collected caterpillars from his dill crop for me to raise in the butterfly cage at school. Pics show the dorsal & ventral sides of newly emerged butterflies...also 2 shots of chrysalids of the same species showing differing color forms.

Habitat:

Agricultural organic farm: caterpillars found on dill plants.
