L. ixobolus

Larinioides ixobolus

Description:

Spider relaxing in front of the full moon.

Because the Nuctenea umbratica (Spaltenkreuzspinne) is often confused with Larinioides ixobolus I wrote an email to "spinnen-forum.de" and they discussed about it and made the decision that its "Larinioides ixobolus"!

@ Lars: Are you sure? I am not sure, which one it is, because I can´t find the typical "V"- sign of the bridge spider and I can´t find the cross of the garden spider, made out of white dots.
I found a third possible spider: "Spaltenkreuzspinne (Nuctenea umbratica)".
