According to the research there is only one species known in Arkansas and that is the Texas Brown Tarantula (has multiple common names). You can see the wiki page here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aphonopelma...

However viewing photos and various pages, it seems that some are seeing these to come in many color variations of browns and blacks.
