Debris-carrying Lacewing Larva

Description:

1/4" or less Grey-green in colour Almost looked like a piece of moving lichen.

Habitat:

I spotted this crawling around at the base of a Live Oak tree.

Looks like an aphid lion or lacewing larva. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysopidae...
