birch

Betula pendula

Description:

This silver birch is a very common tree in Austria. Characteristics are the white bark and the hanging branches. In nature it often grows in groups.

Habitat:

This one grows in our garden. But it wasn´t planted, it startd to grow alone and makes a strange kind of "symbiosis" with a thuja, to be seen not very clear on the first picture. Both grow on the same place.
