Description:

Pegasidae are small fish with an elongated snout, highly specialised for hunting worms and other small animals from their burrows. Their modified pelvic fins allow them to "walk" across the sea floor.

Habitat:

Monad Shoal, Cebu, Philippines Coral patch [caused by divers visiting Thresher Shark cleaning station] at 24m.
