Is distributed from western Colombia to western Bolivia and north of Chile. (Colombia: Cundinamarca and Nariño; Ecuador: Azuay, Guayas, Loja, Los Ríos, Pastaza, Pichincha, and Tungurahua; Peru: Ancash, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Cuzco, Junín, Lima, Piura, and Puno; Bolivia: Cochabamba and La Paz; Chile: Arica y Parinacota).
Their sting is very painful!!!
