beautiful
My pleasure, Jack. Looking forward to more nudibranch spottings from you! :)
Wonderful spotting!
Cool, thanks blogie.
Hey Jack, maybe you could also submit this spotting to the Eggs of the World mission? Here's the link: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8022...
But if you do, I suggest you add to your description that the nudibranch was laying eggs so that the folks over at the mission won't get confused with the submission. :)
Oh yeah, you're right! It was laying an egg spiral. I saw that happen once, it was a Flabellina bicolor laying eggs. Quite amazing!
Looks like the jorunna is laying its eggs, yes.
Never really noticed that before.
I think it might be eggs?
Wow, is that another nudibranch or maybe a flatworm underneath the jorunna?
Btw, "polka-dot nudibranch" sounds so much better than "funeral jorunna", doesn't it? :)
