Chaunus marinus
This one is young, but this is the biggest toad in the Yucatan Peninsula. It typically grows to a lenght of 15 cm. When in danger, it secretes a toxic milky substance from its large parotoid glands on the back of its head on each shoulder.
It is abundant in terrestrial habitats, especially in open areas.
