The Rainbow lorikeets are a popular attraction at Nashville Zoo where they will readily come to a hand for food. This little guy caught my attention as he performed his (very thorough) ablutions!

At the moment in Noosa, Queensland, they flock along the river in the evenings in their THOUSANDS. It's just unbelievable, there are so many of them and they are so loud you can hardly hear yourself think!
