Description:

This male butterfly has a gray underside "with single row of round spots of differing sizes depending upon region." - Wikipedia The upperside is blue with black edging then white on the very edge of wings. The antennae are black and white striped. "Upperside is a light blue in males, a dull grayish blue in females. Wingspan is from 18 to 28 mm." - Wikipedia

Habitat:

Yellow flower along trail at Lake Poway. "G. lygdamus is found over much of the western United States and most of Canada extending north excepting most of Nunavut and the high Arctic islands." - Wikipedia
