Sorry Savannah...did not mean to be defensive...sometime I am too blunt and people take it too seriously. but the answer is it is not a wild rose. I think I found the name now

Rosa acicularis has 5 petals, this flower has 4. Is this plant woody or herbaceous? Annual, perennial, or biennial?

Well, that's not very. I made a foolish assumption to think that ppl knew or at least researched before they posted their photos with plant names, considering they go into the app's field guide. There was no need to get defensive from my original comment; was only meant as an FYI.
