Malurus cyaneus
The superb fairywren (Malurus cyaneus), also known as the superb blue-wren or colloquially as the blue wren, is a passerine bird of the family Maluridae, common and familiar across southeastern Australia. A small, brightly coloured bird. This little bird and it's mate/mates are in the garden every morning, hopping around searching for food. Last photo shows the female.

Great shots! Are you going to do Sooty Oystercatcher? You must have some nice pics. Mine are very ordinary.
