I too think its a species of Acacia. Ihad seen this tree in india. It beas curly dry pods that produces foam on squeezing in water

Thnx Cindy,Cannot rule out the possibility of an Acacia.
I made sure though that the trunk belonged to these flowers. Two trees were so close to each other that it was quite confusing.

Cindy,both the previous acacia that I spotted have mimosa like leaf.

I do think it's an Acacia although I don't know one with that smooth bark. My spotting has similar inflorescence and leaves but notice the different trunk http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/806...
