Aloe
Is a species of succulent. Stemless or very short stemmed succulent that grows 60-100 cm tall. Leaves are thick and fleshy green to grey green. The margin of the leaf is serrated.
Aloe Vera can survive in areas of low natural rain fall making it ideal for rocketed and other low water use gardens.
Used in herbal medicine and widely used in the cosmetics and alternative medicine industries being marketed as variously having rejuvenating, healing or soothing properties. ( personally use aloe Vera for sunburns, burns or cuts - fantastic)
