Thymus mongolicus
Does well with infrequent watering, in well drained soil in full sun
Thyme has a wide variety of uses in cooking. This variety has a lemon scent and slightly citric taste. It also makes a beautiful ground cover, especially when the tiny purple flowers are in bloom.

I am adding that regularily in summer to our selfmade (real) Bolognese-Sauce - it's awesomely refreshing. Fantastic herb.
