Straw-necked ibis

Threskiornis spinicollis

Description:

Short straw-coloured plumes on front of throat and breast. They have dark wings that show an iridescent, multicoloured sheen in sunlight.

Habitat:

Found around shallow freshwater wetlands, cultivated pastures, edges of swamps and lagoons, and wet or dry grasslands.

Notes:

There is also a Eurasion Coot in the first photo.
