Description:

Photo take in my backyard found this Gray Cracker caterpillar on the leaf of a common climbing plant about 3 cm long all green whit bright dark red color, very common in this area, Some Caterpillar has an Innovative defenses as the spine armor like this one has to protect it self also has bright colors to warn predators.

Habitat:

Subtropical forest and edges, cultivated areas with trees. Argentina north through tropical America to Mexico.
