Pitangus sulphuratus
The Great Kiskadee is very common in Argentina. It is a bird that you can find in your backyard. It is very confident. Tall, more than 15 cm, usually hunt insects or eat seeds. Sometimes it hit the seeds or insects against a branch of a tree making sounding like a woodpecker. Other times you can see them fishing like the kingfisher. They also can catch small birds.
They can be found from middle Patagonia to northern Argentina, in all the environments.
