A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Delias descombesi, Bisduval
Thick bush along a small stream, if we stand and face north, on the right is River Jaldhaka, relatively a large river, and on the left is the edge of the forests of Sipchu Wildlife Park along the river.
There were many varieties of butterflies flying all over but settling mostly on tree tops and on tall bushes. Even if they settled nearby, the strong wind simply swayed them and chased them away. Simply said, it tested my patience. Very lucky to get this one. This is a wild elephant-infested remote area, may be I was the first person to set foot here and take butterfly photos. And these photos were bonus for me as actually had gone there for Mahseer angling!
