Spotting

Description:

This species of grasshopper can often be seen in our region during middle part of the year usually after rice harvest where ricefields are left vacant. Most of the insects in our place are not that colorful. But I assure you, they are the toughest among the tough. Since our place is an agricultural area, it is saturated with harmful farm chemical residues and only those insects who are tough enough learned to adapt or maybe mutate in order to survive.

Habitat:

Open grassland/ cultivated land
