Panthera tigris altaica
Taken a long time ago at the San Diego Zoo. This white Siberian Tiger demonstrates the species' beautiful power in an aquatic setting. Siberian Tigers are normally deep orange, and white varieties usually have a hard time surviving in the wild.
They are natives to areas of Asia, particularly Russia and China.

what a face ! :-)
Awesome ...
Lovely aggression over face,
It's okay, thanks.
Ah sorry, I misunderstood. You have a lovely collection!
Thanks for confirming Braelei. This is a lovely shot. I do not work in a zoo and my collection is mainly from the open/wild :-)
SatyenMehta,
Thank you! The tigers had an arena with a plastic front. They're swimming pool was up against the plastic. I just happened to be there when the handler tossed some food in. A chunk landed in the pool and this tiger dove down to nab it. What zoo do you work in? Is that where most of your shots come from?
Hi Braelei!
That is an amazing shot. How did you take this in a zoo? It is impossible to get such shots in our zoo unless the tiger is in an aquarium.
