Silvertip Shark

Carcharhinus albimarginatus

Description:

Snout moderately long and broadly rounded. Grey being darker on back and shading to white ventrally. White tips on margins on first dorsal , caudal and pectoral fins.

Habitat:

Common on outer reefs with at least 18m depth.

Notes:

Found on the outer reef, this individual was small and curious but there was a large Silvertip that was staying deep and away from us.
