Transparent wings. Brown body. Dark line along the midesection...extends the length of the body.
This one and its mate entered the bathroom of the cottage at the eco-resort on Havelock island. I thought one was dead as it lay unmoving (on its back) on the wet floor. But it grasped my finger, righted itself and flew away. The other one, photographed here, stayed put the whole time.
I saw a few of these...obviously tired out and at the end of their lives on the beach attached to the resort. Maybe this is their time to die?
