Paropsisterna decolorata
A beautiful leaf beetle as if made of ivory and enamel. Elytra were a greenish red with rows of pitting and thin white lines running through the length. The elytra was also covered by small white irregular spots including the outer margins which were green. The inner margins were clear of pattern and thus showed a definite separation between the wings. Pronotum and head were green with white patterns.
Spotted on a eucalyptus tree in a national park.

Nice 'dishy' beetle Leuba. Its a good day when you spot a Paropsisterna. Decolorata is defined, in part by the 'u' on the pronotum and variicollis tends toward two dots.
Your photo is good enough to see the 9 and half pairs of striae with regular and even puncturations. The half stria runs along the elytral suture from the pronotum and half way back to the apex.
ooh it looks super
The detailed pattern is just amazing , what a wonderful find !
oooooh... another new one for us. :)
