Condylostylus longicornis

Description:

Very small gold fly. Looks like black bands around abdomen.

Habitat:

Found on Seminole Squash leaf.

Notes:

The squash climbed up some fencing which puts some of it's leaves at eye level for easy spotting. Predatory fly. Feeds on small insects and spiders.
