fantastic! well done
Thanks everyone for the amazingly nice comments! However, I believe all the credit should go to these amazing frogs with their camo pattern and cutest eyes! cheers!
Very nice resting posture!
This is a species of Spodoptera (Noctuidae). Further... i'm afraid it is rather difficult because the moth is in poor condition.
this is in the genus Eurema (Pieridae)
This is either Lycaena alciphron or L. hippothoe, never L. tityrus which has a different shade on the underside and 4 central spots on the hindwing.
They are to be found on different habitats, if on wet meadows it should be L. hippothoe, dry scrubland or xerophilous meadows should indicate L. alciphron. I am leaning towards L. hippothoe but definitely an upperside picture would help.
Bom registo! É uma localização nova para a espécie. :)
Stunning butterfly.
Oh thanks for the comment! Indeed I took many more pictures of it. However, they do not differ much and I decided to upload one more, a macro of the head! Hope you enjoy it. :)
