Dear Nuwan, thanks for the ID suggestion. :)
Was received another suggestion few a week ago that the mentioned species was Coenodoumus sp., yet, the one you suggest seems match to the one i spotted pretty well.
Hay guys, thanks for the comment and glad to know that you guys love it. ;)
Thanks for the ID. :)
Thanks for the suggestion :)
Hi Bayucca, any idea for the genus or species??
Hey Bayuca,
Thanks for the suggestion, looks like the genus Erucius more suit to my spotting. But some suggest it could be the Erianthus sp., quite confusing, need and expert ti verify this i guess.
For time being, i will temporary use the genus Erucius then. :)
I'm from Malaysia, hope you can get the photo next time and share with us, as the color for the young looks quite interesting, so i'm wonder how the adult going to looks like. :)
I think you should keep it for further observation, to see what it turn into as an adult, i believe the black bands will become broader and fade as it growth, just like the rest of the Paradise Tree Snake (Chrysopelea paradisi).
While, just a thought, as i'm not familiar with the sp. endemic in Philippines.
Hi Ashish Nimkar,
Thanks for the suggestion, indeed, that's Kallima limborgii amplirufa, as this was spotted at Malaysia, and so far, that's the only sp. within the Kallima genus that had been identify in Malaysia. :)
