Lol. Thanks Ashley I knew u'd be the first one to help identify for sure ;). I'm no reptile expert at all...
They did jump up the tree from branch to branch (actually both did, and they can actually jump very good ), but after getting on the tree, with me "blocking" their way while taking the pictures right underneath the tree, one if them did fly away, while the second waited and just went higher in the tree.
Actually no. I was on a bike ride in a local meadow ( mostly tall dry grass), when I first spotted 2 of these guys for far away. A couple walking their dog accidentally scared them away and they ran to that tree to wait for the dog to go away, and this is where I took the pictures. Never saw one so close before, and never even saw one fly.
That's actually what my son suggested when we saw them... But I just assumed they were 2 guys from a different species. Thanks a lot for your help !!
I lived in Mexico for a couple of years and saw a couple of these. They were scary, nasty and I always wondered if poisonous. Very interesting "animal" though.
Did u really spot this tiger in the wild ? If so you r very lucky to be able to see such an incredible animal. Great picture.
We found this hummingbird today at my working facility on the ground.
