Thank you @jgorneau I appreciate your comment and ID suggestion and have updated the spotting. It's funny, as she just literally just dropped out of the tree we were picnicking beside. She seemed sluggish (it was the middle of the afternoon). The people I was with thought she was dying. I hope not.
I joined your mission last week upon your suggestion about my male gypsy moth spotting (the pair is complete) and earned the patch!
