Hi Laura! This beauty is actually a butterfly! It's too bad that it didn't open it's wings for you to see the wonderful orange coloration on the dorsal sides of the wings. The small white marking on the hindwing is diagnostic for this species (it's sort-of question mark shaped).

You will have to remove this from the Moths of the World mission, sorry :-).
