Hi Gaia80. These are little beetles in the Family Buprestidae, you might be able to find the species looking at Buprestids from Slovakia.
Thank you Mark, can you believe I just found your comment? I could only find a couple of references to Monocrepidius, but it looks like the right genus.
Did these ever hatch to see what they were?
I sure do love it when you get out of the water and into the woods!
This might be a Soldier Beetle, Family Cantharidae? Those hind legs are amazing.
