Wow! A jewel beetle! Many of its kind has spectacular colours and are very beatiful. They use tobe extremel quick to take off so you are lucky to have caught it with camera.

Nice pic! I joined the Noah projekt today and chose exactly the same specimen as my first pic. It is a wonderful insect and I love to se it and even hold it in my hand, feeling it buzzing there for a while!
